A person has "grumpy-face" when their resting face tends to seem angry, upset, or unhappy. This app uses AI to judge whether your resting face exhibits grumpy-face.

You must allow the app to use your camera; you'll snap a shot of your resting face and the app will analyze it. This app does not save your image on the server.

As a personal aside, I have to say that I myself probably have grumpy-face. I recall more than a few times in my life where people have asked me, "are you ok?", or said - after catching my attention from my laptop - "wow, you must have been doing something intense there!" Meanwhile, no, all was indeed ok; I was simply reading email.

So this silly experiment started as a way to test my own face for grumpiness. Also, it's a fun pop-culture concept, and lends itself well to an app. Finally, it was a great way to put some advanced technology into practice: Google MediaPipe, AI, deep learning, and Python. I hope you enjoy it, no matter what it reveals about your resting face!
